  1. My Friend! I am a Canadian School Principal in Chengdu, China. I have one of the top Little League Coaches in Canada that wants to play games with Chinese teams. I will also make it into a language and culture camp for Canadian children. Where, how, and who do I contact?

Gerry Chambers here! I am a Canadian school principal in Chengdu, China, and a mixed cultural camp director in the summer time in Canada.
Need help now! 30 little league players from Chengdu have cancelled an August trip to Canada, because of an illness in the coach’s family. I had lined up a wonderful baseball and culture camp with Les McTavish, one of Canada’s best amateur coaches, and scout for the Seattle Mariners.
I need your help to find a replacement. Canada you help?
I too want to expand the game, but also through other cultural activities. I have connections into South America; Ecuador, Venezuela, Brazil, and Columbia. The Dutch have been to my school in Chengdu, so we can start a LL exchange quite easily. But truth be told, I need others like you get involved! I think we can seriously work together and make something of this!

    4. Tried baseball 2008, and it appears to not be anymore. William, we have a chance to do something great! Let's do it! You have passion for the game. I have the administration and camp ability. We have common ground. I have a contact in Taiwan for non-baseball intercultural connections.

  4. Hi William,
I live and work in Korea, and I'm going to be in Shanghai for the first weekend of June. From the schedule posted here it seems the Eagles are going to be playing that weekend in Shanghai! As a KBO fan I can't wait to see some Chinese baseball - I have a couple of questions I wondered if you could help me with.
    1) Can I pick up a ticket at the gate?
    2) It says on my translator that they play at Shanghai Jiao Tong University - is that right? Is it easy to find the field there?
    3) It says the game starts at 9:30 on the Sunday - is that local time?
    Thanks very much!
    Andy
