China's Shining Star: KT Wiz Pitcher Ju Kwon 주권 (朱權)

I just recently found out about Ju Kwon, a right-handed pitcher who plays for the KT Wiz of the Korean Baseball Organization. Ju was born in Jilin, China (right next to North Korea on the map) and is unsurprisingly an ethnic Korean. He immigrated to South Korea with his mother in 2005. In 2014, he was one of the first players to be drafted by the new expansion team KT Wiz and made  his debut last year. He made headlines recently by pitching a complete game shutout against the Nexen Heroes on May, 27th. You can check out the clip above! I'm not sure if Ju Kwon will ever play for Team China in the World Baseball Classic, but he will definitely make a great addition! I wish him the very best in KBO!

Here are some biographic info about Ju Kwon:

DOB: May-31-1995 (He just turned 21!)
